LIDC Short Course- Evaluation for development programmes
The LIDC short course “Evaluation for Development Programmes” will be held from 12th to 16th November 2018. The hashtag is #LIDCShortCourses.
The course is for postgraduates and professional staff, but we will also consider applicants with a bachelor degree and extensive work experience.
The programme will include sessions on quantitative and qualitative research as well as methods and impact evaluations. Selected tutors from our member colleges, including London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, SOAS University of London and UCL Institute of Education, will lead sessions. Our partnering projects such as The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) and Centre of Excellence for Development Impact and Learning (CEDIL), will also deliver sessions. Furthermore, Oxfam GB and CARE International UK will talk about their real world experiences with impact evaluations. A tutor will support students all week and assist them to enhance their knowledge in group work exercises.
