CEID Panel Discussion: Racism, Education and International Development

May 21 @ 4:15 pm - 5:45 pm

Panel Overview

The Centre for Education and International Development (CEID) hosts a panel discussion with Arathi Sriprakash and Sharon Walker (both University of Cambridge), moderated by Elaine Unterhalter (IOE). This discussion examines how matters of race and racism are often overlooked in the field of education and international development. It asks how the field can better address its colonial past and assesses its continued role in sustaining systems of racial domination. All are welcome to take part in this important conversation.
