NETWORKING AND DEVELOPMENT QUIZ FOR LIDC STUDENT AND ALUMNI MEMBERS
February 11 @ 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm
Would you like an opportunity to expand your network and meet other students and graduates with a passion for international development? LIDC are pleased to be hosting a networking and quiz event to afford current students the opportunity to connect virtually and share their interest in global development.
NB! This event is now full and closed for registrations. Those who have signed up will receive a link to the event by email on 9 February with a link to the event.
The event will involve a short talk from LIDC staff about their industry experience and how students can develop their networking skills to help start a career in international development. Following this there will be an informal quiz that will provide an opportunity for a fun activity and interaction with other students. The event will conclude with a short talk by Eniola Phillips, a recent LIDC intern who, upon completion of the LIDC internship, received an offer from a housing NGO. You will have the chance to ask questions about the internship and how to approach entering into a competitive but rewarding sector.
This event has limited availability so sign up quickly to gain the chance to talk to like-minded individuals and learn more about the field of global development and opportunities at LIDC.
