Public engagement is a core part of our mission and embedded across all of our activities.

Our aim is to optimise the impact of our work by sharing our findings with diverse audiences from industry to schoolchildren to the wider public to enhance understanding of risk and resilience.

LIDC supports the UK’s National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE), manifesto where university-led [public] engagement is by definition a two-way process, involving interaction and listening, with the goal of generating mutual benefit.’

Our reflexive engagement program is designed to enable lessons learned to be quickly shared with our stakeholders.
