Can Development Aid Help Counter Extremism? Save the Date! Upcoming Debate!

Save the date! We have an exciting event coming up!

On Tuesday 5th December 2017 the fifth debate of the LIDC & The Guardian Development Debate Series will take place at City, University of London.

The debate will be looking at aid and extremism and discussing whether development aid can help counter extremism.

Expect interesting speakers, thought provoking discussions and an opportunity to network at a drinks reception afterwards.

LIDC has teamed up with The Guardian Development Network to host a series of panel debates on current key issues in international development. Four speakers, comprised of academics from the Bloomsbury Colleges, development practitioners and policy-makers, will take questions from the audience and discussions will be guided by a moderator.
